AABoard public information
Accessibility Statement
Last updated: May 22, 2026
Commitment to accessibility
AABoard, the public website of the International AI Assessment Board (AAB), is committed to making its digital content accessible to people with disabilities and usable by the broad education, research, policy, and public-interest communities it serves.
AABoard is designed as a public evidence and standards infrastructure. Accessibility is part of that public-interest responsibility, including clear navigation, readable pages, keyboard access, descriptive content, and careful publication of documents and registry materials.
Conformance goal
AABoard works toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines describe how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and more usable for everyone.
Current accessibility features
The website includes accessibility-oriented practices such as:
- Semantic HTML structure and page landmarks.
- Consistent navigation across major public pages.
- Descriptive page titles, headings, and link text.
- Keyboard-accessible links, buttons, and form controls.
- Visible labels and instructions for public forms.
- Color and typography choices intended to support readable public information.
Known limitations
AABoard is actively improving accessibility as the website, registry records, and public outputs develop. Some limitations may remain, especially in older or source-provided materials.
- Some images or historical assets may need improved alternative text.
- Some linked PDFs, spreadsheets, or external documents may need remediation.
- Some third-party source pages linked from registry records may not meet AAB standards.
AABoard does not remove public-interest evidence solely because a source format is imperfect. When barriers are identified, AABoard works to improve its own presentation and provide reasonable alternative access to information when feasible.
Feedback and support
AABoard welcomes feedback about accessibility barriers. If you encounter a problem using this website or need information in another format, contact AABoard by email.
Email: info@aaboard.org
Please include the page URL, a description of the barrier, the assistive technology or browser you are using if relevant, and the format or accommodation that would help you access the information.
Technical specifications
AABoard relies on standard web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, to work with browsers and assistive technologies.
Accessibility review may include keyboard-only navigation, browser zoom, automated checks, manual inspection, and testing with assistive technologies as resources permit.
Ongoing efforts
AABoard continues to improve accessibility through:
- Reviewing new public pages before publication.
- Improving labels, headings, alternative text, and document formats over time.
- Maintaining clear contact channels for correction and access requests.
- Updating this statement as the website and accessibility practices evolve.
Enforcement and responsibility
This statement reflects AABoard's commitment to accessible public information and continuous improvement. AABoard reviews accessibility concerns alongside its broader responsibilities for evidence quality, privacy protection, and public-interest governance.
